TA STEP Sessions

TA STEP is a series of development sessions for Teaching Assistants being provided by Buckinghamshire New University and Inspiring Futures Professional Development.

These sessions are being provided online, at no cost to schools. Please see below for details of the sessions and use the booking form to sign up for as many sessions as you would like to attend.

Upcoming STEP sessions

Session 1- 29th April 1-2.15pm

Demand avoidance- Approaches to supporting children who are demand avoidant.

Laura Kay- experienced SENDCo in both the primary and secondary sector.

Session 2- 20th May 1-2.15pm

Sensory Circuits- making effective use of sensory circuits to meet individual pupil needs.

Claire Gresswell- experienced SENDCO, SEND consultant and Trust SENDCo.

Session 3- 24th June 1-2.15pm

Relational learning- approaches that prioritise secure relationships to support emotional regulation and academic progress.
