SEND Consultancy

IFPD offers SEND Consultancy services to mainstream SENDCOs in Buckinghamshire. If you are a SENDCo outside of Buckinghamshire, please get in touch if you think we can support you in any way.

We have two excellent and very experienced SENDCOs who are both used to providing support to other SENDCo colleagues and who have a wide range of skills to offer. SENDCo Consultant profiles, coming soon!

What is available from the consultancy service?

Consultancy is very flexible. It may be that you have a SENDCO new to role who would like some support over a period of weeks. You may have a complex case that you would like support with. Examples of what can be offered:

Advice and support for EHCP writing, and applications for High Needs Funding
Guidance on effective PIPs, provision mapping and other support and intervention plans
Support around working with parents of SEND pupils
Support for new SENDCOs
Preparation for Ofsted
Guidance on how monitor that the needs of SEND pupils are being met in the curriculum

What is the cost of SEND Consultancy?

Our consultancy services can be booked by the hour or by the half/full day, depending on what the need is. Single hour consultancy will be by telephone or video call. Half/full day will be in person unless video call is requested instead.

By the hour- £90 ex VAT

Half day (3 hours)- £250 ex VAT (and cost of travel if outside High Wycombe)

Full day (6 hours)- £450 ex VAT

Packages of Support- we can also offer packages of multiple days, depending on requirements, such as a day per half-term for new SENDCOs. Please enquire.
