This 3 day programme is designed to support teachers who are new to the subject leadership role.

Course Content
This is up-to-date and in line with the new Ofsted framework (Nov 2025)
Day 1- Understanding your subject curriculum- how to assess the intent, impact and implementation and an introduction to the effective monitoring of your subject. A gap task will be provided.
Day 2- Evaluating the evidence gathered about your subject, looking at the requirements of the Ofsted framework and developing your subject development plan. Identifying and planning professional development for staff. A gap task will be provided.
Day 3- Considering the current status of your subject, identifying review questions that you may be asked by school leaders and inspectors, talking confidently about your subject and it's impact for pupils. each participant will deliver a short presentation on the leadership of their subject (planned in the session)
Cost of the Programme
- £300 per participant
- £270 per participant if booking more than one
- £200 per participant for schools with 100 pupils or fewer
