LEADERSHIP Reviews
Book a Leadership Review to look at the effectiveness of the leadership and management of your primary or secondary school. IFPD Leadership Reviews are intended to be supportive and informative in enhancing the strategic leadership practice in your setting. Leadership reviews can be arranged for maintained or academy schools.
This may be useful to:
- Get an external view on leadership
- Gather evidence of effective practice and areas for development
- Support a new headteacher or leadership team
- Build an action plan for leadership
- Refresh your practice

Leadership Review
A review can take place over one to three days depending on your requirements. Areas that can form part of the review are listed below:
- Vision and values
- Strategic planning and evaluation
- Teaching and Learning focus
- Staff CPD Strategy
- Appraisal and line management
- Coherence and consistecy of education
- Impact of community engagement
- Management of staff workload and wellbeing
- Ambition for all- inclusive culture
- Staff voice
- SLT voice
- Any bespoke area of your choice
After the Review
You will receive a written report with action points to inform your Improvement Plan within seven days of the end of the review.
Costs and other details
One day review- £650 ex VAT
Two day review- £1000 ex VAT
Three day review- £1350 ex VAT
Travel costs may be added depending on distance from High Wycombe.
Reviews are carried out by a reviewer with either primary or secondary experience according to the needs of the setting. Both are available for 'all-through' schools.
