General Child Protection in the Early Years
If your Early Years staff need General Child Protection Training on their 3 year training cycle, we offer a whole organisation training option on site (depending on location) or via zoom.
We know that there's nothing worse than Child Protection training where you are just talked at for several hours, so we aim to make our trianing interactive and meaningful. We also focus strongly on what will support staff in their day to day safeguarding responsibilities, usng real-life examples and anonymised case studies.
My staff have all said that this was by far the best Child Protection training they have ever had.

Key areas covered:
- The safeguarding responsibilities of Early Years staff as per KCSiE and Early Years guidance
- Signs and indicators of abuse
- Specific child protection issues beyond the categories of abuse
- Safeguarding and food in the Early Years
- Learning from Serious Case Reviews
- Respondng to case studies
- Recording and reporting concerns
Further details
Length- around 2.5 hours with a brief comfort break
Location- at your setting or online (there may be a travel charge depending on location)
Number of staff- 30 (more can be added at additional cost). We are happy for you to share this with other settings.
Cost- £300 plus VAT
