DSL Child-Centred Specific Courses

 The Buckinghamshire pathway for Designated Safeguarding Leads requires DSLs to attend DSL refresher training and a 'Child-centred, specific course' in alternate years after completing the initial training.

If you did your DSL refresher training last year, then you may be looking for a 'Child-centred, specific course' this academic year.

Inspiring Futures Professional Development offers several of these courses, over zoom or face to face each year, ensuring there are options for all DSLs in such a challenging county geographically.  We also try to ensure that the courses offered include some fresh new topics every two years, to avoid DSLs being limited to completing courses on the same safeguarding issues repeatedly.

DSLs from other counties and authorities are welcome to book on these courses. They are not Buckinghamshire specific.
