 Designated Safeguarding Leads - Coercive Control

Join us for this specific, child-centred course, aimed at DSLs who are following the training pathway, and are in between DSL refreshers.

This session will be delivered by Victoria Morris,  an NSPCC Accredited Trainer, an experienced DSL and Safeguarding Lead across the Inspiring Futures Partnership Trust.

 Content of the Session:

Running face-to-face, the session will cover:

• The definition, prevalence and appearance of Coercive Control 
• Coercive Control and the law
• The impact of Coercive Control on families
• Indicators that a child may be in a household where Coercive Control is happening
• Methods of supporting children in domestically abusive situations

Cost: £70 + VAT per person (£50 + VAT per person for schools with 100 or fewer pupils)
